Use Ford How-To Videos on Your Vehicle

Vehicles today are becoming more innovative and responsive, and we’re this close to having vehicles that only drive themselves. Until that day comes, though, we need to be sure we familiarize ourselves with the vehicles we have now. Ford goes out of their way to ensure that each vehicle is packed with plenty of safety and technology features that every Bradley driver would love, but when you provide this much innovation, you also need to teach drivers how to use it. Ford does a great job of this by providing plenty of how-to videos that teach Peotone drivers about all the features on their new model.

Every driver loves having technology that offers a suite of entertainment and information options right at their fingertips, but it’s possible that you don’t fully understand everything this has to offer. No matter what vehicle model you drive, there’s a video available that will teach you all about your vehicle’s technology, such as pairing your phone to the SYNC® technology to learning more about what this entertainment system has to offer. If you want to have a full grasp of this technology, be sure to check out the videos.

Having a vehicle requires regular maintenance, but some of us don’t have the time or money to let a professional handle it. In fact, some maintenance jobs are easy for you to do on your own, so why go through the hassle or letting someone else do it? For instance, if you want to learn more about changing the wiper blades or changing the oil on your vehicle, you can find out more by watching one of the available Ford how to videos. These will provide step by step instructions that walk you through exactly what you need to do to get the job done and get it done right.

With all the innovation packed into today’s Ford vehicles, it’s possible that your vehicle is capable of doing something you weren’t aware of. Thankfully, you can spend some time watching the Ford how to videos to learn more about all the fun features and amenities your vehicle has. Not only will you learn more about them, but you will also learn how to use them correctly. For instance, maybe your vehicle comes with a trailer package. By watching a video, you can learn how to successfully hitch a trailer to your vehicle and be on your way.

Pairing Ford SYNC With Your Smartphone

Sync with BluetoothFord is known for equipping their vehicles with innovative features, and one of the most functional and helpful features from the automaker is SYNC. With SYNC, drivers are able to play music, place phone calls, and find a variety of information using voice commands. The system is quite user friendly and can add convenience to your commute. Take a look at our guide to setting up SYNC with your compatible smartphone.

Setting Up SYNC

  • Before beginning the pairing process, be sure to check if your phone is compatible. It is also a good idea to familiarize yourself with your vehicle’s controls.
  • Once you have confirmed that your phone will work with SYNC, enable the Bluetooth feature on the phone so that it is discoverable.
  • The next step is to press the “Phone” button so that you can access the Phone Menu. By pressing “OK,” “Add a Device” will display. Once again, press “OK.”
  • SYNC will then prompt you to “Press OK to begin pairing device.”
  • After the pairing process begins, the system will say “Search for SYNC on your device and enter the PIN provided by SYNC.” After pressing “OK,” a six-digit number will show up on the screen for three minutes. SYNC will then look for that number from your cell phone.
  • Using your phone’s keypad, type in the number. Once the pairing is successful, the system will confirm that the device is connected.
  • To get out of the phone pairing process, use the arrows to choose the exit message. By pressing “OK,” you will leave the Phone menu.
